Union Institute & University is pleased to invite you and your colleagues to its new Continuing Education Program for health service professionals and interested community members, Fridays at Union. Attendees can obtain 1 APA CE credit for their participation and there will be no charge for the events. You may also attend without seeking continuing education credits. Bring your own lunch, beverages and dessert will be provided.

We would also like to introduce you to Union’s Certificate in Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counseling. The program’s chemical dependency specific education courses parallel formal structured instruction recommended by the National Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC). The features include:

  • Six online graduate level courses (270 education hours) specifically related to the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the core functions of alcohol and drug counseling.
  • Meets the educational requirements for credentialing in many states, including Vermont and New Hampshire.
  • Certificate students are welcome to join our master’s degree students at thrice yearly weekend classes in Brattleboro, Vermont. This is an added value at no extra tuition cost.
  • Quick application process:  Just a simple application and an official undergraduate transcript, showing that you have earned a bachelor’s degree (2.5 minimum GPA.)
